David

David has been a dedicated member of the YMCA for 35 years. After undergoing two brain surgeries, he joined the YMCA at the encouragement of both his doctor and his wife to support his recovery and rebuild his strength.

He began with chair yoga and gradually progressed to aqua exercise classes. Over time, David noticed his energy levels increasing and his walking steadily improving. Today, he credits the YMCA with playing a major role in the remarkable progress he has made in his overall health.

Beyond the physical benefits, David values the strong sense of community the YMCA provides. Every Saturday, he enjoys working out with friends before continuing their tradition of heading to the Broadway Diner together.

David hopes that others will discover the same improvements in health, friendship, and belonging that he has experienced through the YMCA over the years.
