Spring Softball Leagues

Grab your glove and hit one out of the park! The Y’s slow-pitch softball leagues are the perfect opportunity to get outside, connect with your community, develop new skills and explore new interests. You might just discover a renewed passion for the game, too! Games will be played weeknights or Sunday afternoons, depending on the league.

2025 Program Details

Ages: 16 +

Dates: Opening day is May 4 (weather permitting) and will run through August 3, 2025.

Register by April 21st to ensure you receive waivers, schedules, scorebook and equipment on time.

Locations: Games are played on various City of Binghamton and Town of Kirkwood softball fields.

Max Roster Size: 18 people per team.

When registering, please choose the league that matches your skill level:

Our A League is for players with some skill and/or experience.

Our B League is for newer players or first time teams that focus on fun and enjoyment.

Cost:

Early Bird Special	$753
After April 21st (based on availability)	$778

Teams can reserve a space in the league by paying the $100 deposit. The remainder would need to be paid by the second game of the season which would be 5/22/2025 for a scheduled payment if paid online.

All teams will play (10) games with the top 4 teams from each recreational and competitive divisions qualifying for the playoffs. You must be 16 years of age in order to participate in the league. All co-ed softball teams must have 6 men and 4 women for a total of 10 players on the field for each game.

Each team will receive at the mandatory captains meeting waivers, schedules, scorebook and 1 dozen softballs. Captains will receive an email about the mandatory captains meeting that will be held 1 week prior to that leagues start date. If you’re unable to attend, please send a team representative to collect your softball gear.
