SWIM STARTERS

Recommended ages 6 Months - 36 Months

Swim Starters is the foundational step in developing lifelong swimming skills. In this class, parents or guardians join their child in the water while instructors lead engaging games and activities designed to build confidence and comfort in the water. The program helps infants and toddlers acclimate to the aquatic environment while educating caregivers on essential water safety practices. Swim Starters also encourages bonding between the parent and child. Classes are tailored to meet each child's individual needs, helping them gain the confidence necessary to continue developing their swimming skills as they grow.

SWIM BASICS

Recommended ages 3 - 5

Swim Basics focuses on water acclimation, movement, and endurance. Students learn fundamental skills such as floating, gliding, and maintaining forward motion in the water. They are introduced to the basic elements of formal swim strokes, creating a solid foundation for future skill development. Through engaging games and structured activities, students become comfortable  submerging their faces and heads in the water, building confidence and independence.

SWIM STROKES

Recommended ages 6 - 9

Swim Strokes emphasizes building stamina, introducing formal swim strokes, and refining stroke technique. Students will work on improving their floats and glides while developing proper form for each stroke. Instruction focuses on maintaining correct technique over longer distances, increasing endurance, and learning the essential skill of treading water.

SWIM MECHANICS

Recommended ages 10 - 14

Swim Mechanics focuses on the introduction, development, and refinement of swimming strokes. Students work toward mastering the four primary competitive strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Key objectives include improving endurance, maintaining proper form, and increasing stroke efficiency. Participants also learn competitive skills such as flip turns. Students must be able to swim the full length of the pool to enroll in this class.
