Come visit the Discovery Den at the West Family Y!
The YMCA of Broome County’s Discovery Den is a welcoming family space designed for connection, creativity, and play. This versatile area offers plenty of room and supplies for arts and crafts, classes, and hands-on activities, along with community tables perfect for games and puzzles. The space is regularly enjoyed by groups like the Maj Jong club and Summer Camp participants.
Families can relax on comfortable sectional sofas for reading time, while kids can explore their creativity with both a chalk wall and a Lego wall. A standout feature of the Discovery Den is the impressive 20-foot traverse climbing wall. The space also includes oversized foam building blocks and a padded floor, creating a safe and engaging environment for active, imaginative play.
All play must be supervised by an adult.
