Christmas Cornhole Tournament

November 12, 2018

The YMCA will be hosting a Christmas Cornhole tournament on Friday, December 14th at the West Family Branch YMCA gymnasium starting at 6:00pm (practice rounds from 5:00-5:45pm). Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place!

What is Cornhole?

Cornhole is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point.  Play continues until a team or player reaches the score of 21.

Starting in January, the Y will be offering cornhole leagues for adults (single & doubles), senior’s over 50(single & doubles) and parent & child doubles leagues that will allow for socialization before, during and after league play.

Leagues will be 10 weeks long with the final week being a league tournament to determine an overall champion. Grab a friend and get ready for some friendly fun competition.

Register early as we expect these leagues to fill up as people battle to be the inaugural YMCA Cornhole league champion.  Cost is $40/members & $80/non-members per person for the ten week program.
