CPR/First Aid Training

CPR & First Aid

Parents, babysitters, lifeguards, professionals and concerned citizens, learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. The American Safety and Health Institute’s Basic Life Support for Health Care providers and Professional Rescuers has been approved for training for emergency medical services personnel and is accepted by the national registry of emergency medical technicians (NREMT). If you need or desire to learn CPR and how to operate an AED this is the class for you. All classes are held at the Binghamton YMCA, ages 14 and older are welcome.

BLENDED BASED LEARNING

A blended learning option is available for CPR and First Aid Training. Blended learning allows you the ease of learning at your own pace online, once you have completed the online portion, you will have to come in for a skills test. If you are interested in this option, please contact Patty for more information.

First Aid 

Learn how to respond to an emergency situation and provide the necessary care needed to infants, children and adults. Classes are held at the Binghamton YMCA or online as part of the blended based learning option.
