YMCA Summer Day camp


It’s summer the way your kids want it ! ‘Create A Camp’ is back! Make a choice between active, art and outdoor activities and design your summer of fun!
We are excited to embark on another summer of fun and learning with you and your children. From sports and swimming to arts and culture, the YMCA camp spans a broad range of interests, while focusing on developing young minds and bodies.

Summer camp is offered at both YMCA locations. Pick between the Binghamton or West Family YMCA.  Please note that the outdoor choice is only available a the West Family Y, as we will be going to William Hill Park.

Camp Themes

Week 1: June 25- June 29          Luau Bash
Looking to kick off summer with a sizzle? Join us as we heat things up Hawaiian style! 
Active Track: TBA                Wacky Wednesday: Hawaiian day

Week 2: July 2-July 6               Party in the USA
We will be celebrating Independence day with banners, flags and patriotic songs and games. We will expore what makes America great and create all things red, white and blue.

Week 3: July 9-July 13         The Superhero in you
Campers will have a chance to discover their own super human abilities while reenacting their favorite superheroes. Kindness, bravery, strength and trustworthiness are just a few of the many super powers you may discover.

Week 4: July 16-July 20         Splishin' & Spashlin'
Get ready to celebrate what makes summer truly a blast; Water balloons, slip n slides, and cool tasty treats! Come prepared to get wet as we try and BEAT THE HEAT.

Week 5: July 34-July 27         Shake and Bake
Shake some fun into your cooking skills while we bake some delicious treats that encourage healthy eating and living. And while we're at it, we'll sprinkle some measuring skills on top.

Week 6: July 30-Aug 3       Wonderful world of magic
Come take a tour of your favorite disney tales, learn about the characters, movies, attractions and even some secrets that only true disney fans know.

Week 7: Aug 6-Aug 10             Animal Planet
Animal loving campers can enjoy and learn fascinating facts about our worlds animals while we enjoy animal creations, animals treats, crab walk & bunny hop races and more.

Week 8: Aug 13-Aug 17                   VIP Superstars
From style to stage, campers will take part in activites that any mini-rock star would enjoy. Get ready to hit superstar status.

Week 9: Aug 20-24                     Olympic Spririt Week
Ready? Set...GO! Campers will use their skilsl to play hard, to create masterpieces and go for the gold with some fun competitions.

Week 10: Aug 27-Aug 31            Enjoy Day's a Holiday
Valentines day, Easter and Halloween in the summer.. you may have to come to camp as we end our summer to find out about all our summer celebrations. Camp will provide the fun and your bring the engery for a full week of holiday cheer. We wil definitely give thanks for a great summer, making awesome friends and for making amazing memories.

Registration Information

▪ Ages 5-13 years old-must have completed Kindergarten

▪ A $30 non-refundable deposit per week.
