The YMCA Supportive Housing Program Impacts the lives of men who are struggling with homelessness, very low incomes, lack of income, or other life challenges. We provide emergency and transitional housing to men ages 18 and older. The program offers a safe, positive and structure environment in which our residents are able to find hope, and motivation to rebuild their lives.
To ensure that all residents are given the best chance of success and we maintain a safe, supportive environment, all potential residents will be screened to meet our admittance criteria, which includes, but is not limited to:
We collect gently used men's clothing, footwear and coats on an ongoing basis. Donations can be dropped off at the Binghamton YMCA Security desk.
Donations of kitchen items are always accepted.
We are collecting donations of men's hygiene products for the men who reside in the Supportive Housing Program. Items such as shampoo, body wash, razors, shaving cream and deodorant are needed.
Donations can be put in the bins located in both YMCA lobbies.
