CPR & First Aid

Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.  American Safety and Health Institute’s BLS for health care providers and professional rescuers has been approved for training for emergency medical services personnel and is accepted by the national registry of emergency medical technicians (NREMT). If you need or desire to learn CPR and how to operate an AED this is the class for you.  You will be tested on your skills and a multiple choice test at the end in order to qualify for certification.  This class is about 4 hours.
A blended learning option is available. Blended learning allows you the ease of learning at your own pace online, once you have completed the online portion, you will have to come in for a skills test. If you are interested in this option, please contact Patty for more information.
Class Price: Members $60, Non-Members $120
